TypeTray is made by Stanislav Polyakov. Buying or using it means accepting what is written here.

Who you buy from

Payment is handled by Polar Software Inc., which sells TypeTray as the merchant of record. Your purchase contract, receipt, tax and refund are theirs, and card details never reach this site or the app. Their terms apply to the transaction alongside these.

What a licence buys

One licence covers three Macs at a time, for personal or commercial work, and moves between machines: free a Mac from the licence window and the seat is yours to use elsewhere. The licence does not expire and includes the updates released for the version you bought.

Do not resell the key, share it outside those three Macs, or redistribute a modified copy of the app as though it were the original.

Trying it, and getting your money back

TypeTray runs for fourteen days before it asks for a licence, so the app can be judged before it is paid for. If a purchase still turns out to be a mistake, write to help@plkv.works within 14 days and the purchase will be refunded. Refunds are issued by Polar; where you live may also give you statutory rights, and nothing here takes those away.

What it comes with

No warranty. It is provided as it is: no promise that it is free of faults, that it suits a particular purpose, or that it keeps working after a change to macOS. TypeTray never rewrites a font file, and it activates, moves aside or trashes one only when you ask, but it is still software on a computer — keep backups of anything you would hate to lose.

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid for the licence.

The fonts you open

TypeTray shows files that are already on your Mac. Whether you may use a given font, and for what, is between you and whoever licensed it to you.

Changes and contact

These terms may change; the date above says when they last did. A change never applies backwards to a licence already bought. help@plkv.works reaches a person.
