I take on ambitious, half-formed ideas and make them whole: a fresh pair of eyes and systems thinking to define the thing, build it, and launch it so it keeps running without me.

For 18 years I’ve done this for companies backed by Morgan Stanley, Valor, Sam Altman, a16z and Index Ventures.
I rebuilt Republic’s enterprise design system, where anyone can invest in a future SpaceX or Gumroad; designed complex dashboards and charts for Coinwatch and shipped them in React; took a16z-backed GetGen AI from nothing to its first release; and consulted on brand and product for Sizl as it raised $3.5M.
Years earlier I built Yandex’s first in-house design studio; launched three products for Tochka and led its rebrand; designed the digital wayfinding system for VDNH across its 300+ hectares; and shaped the brand platform for PIK, the CIS’s largest homebuilder.
These days I run Magic × Logic, a small studio for product and brand design, working with founders who’d rather hand the whole thing to one team than stitch it together from three. On the side I build Typedump, a playground that surfaces what type designers build into their fonts and almost nobody ever finds.
Off the clock I dig for leftfield electronica and disco, then file every find into playlists tuned to a condition: a blue hour, a long ride, a floor at peak time.
